Dana, Texas Native, Joins Flower Mound Dental & Dr. William E. Wyatt, Jr.
A Texas Native, joining us from Wichita Falls
Dana joins Flower Mound Dental and Dr. William E. Wyatt, Jr. from beautiful Wichita Falls, Texas. Wichita Falls is a quaint city, nestled in North Texas. It is home to Sheppard Air Force Base, the world’s only multinationally staffed and managed flying training program chartered to produce combat pilots for both USAF and NATO. Dana joined Dr. Wyatt’s Dental Team in the Town of Flower Mound, Texas in the summer of 2019, specifically in July. Dana previously worked with Dr. John Thornton, who retried in December 2018.
Dana started her dental career in 1983 after graduating from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls with an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene.
Dana has an amazing daughter, who graduated from Texas State in 2019. She also has two wonderful step-daughters and four beautiful grandchildren, all living in Kansas. Her fur babies include two rescues: a Mini Schnauzer named Gunter and a Bishon named Murphy. When Dana is not tending to her terrific family, she enjoys spending time in her kitchen, cooking and baking. In addition, she also loves dancing and country music, which makes Texas the perfect home for her!
Everyone at Dr. Wyatt’s office here in Flower Mound, Texas is absolutely thrilled to have Dana join our close-knit dental practice. We especially love that Dana is a seasoned dental hygienist who enjoys spending her off time volunteering for a a number of dental hygiene organizations and giving back to her community. For instance, Dana works very closely with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization very near and dear to her heart. Dana is a true Texan, loves the Dallas Cowboys, and is proud to be here with us and we are thrilled to have her, Welcome Dana!

About Dr. William E. Wyatt Jr.
When it comes to dental education, it’s hard to find anyone more knowledgeable than Dr. Wyatt. In other words, Dr. Wyatt is actively involved in many facets of continuing education. He participates in dental conferences, symposia, and fellowships. In 1986, he received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. He completed 500 hours of additional continuing education and a rigorous written exam. Dr. Wyatt has studied with some of the most respected dentists in the world. The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners requires 12 hours of continuing education every year to maintain licensure. For example, Dr. Wyatt regularly averages 200 hours per year. That’s 1600% more than he’s legally required to do. As a result, this affords him access to the latest technological advances in dentistry.
